Knowing your food, is about experiencing your food

February 6, 2012

For those of us in agriculture we often take for granted the knowledge and experiences we have on a daily basis. The exciting thing is that others are interested in this experience too!…Introducing The Perennial Plate. This video blog meticulously curates a real agricultural education. To learn where your food comes from you have to experience where your food comes from. Hats off to the makers. I truly appreciate the philosophy they have taken: simply portraying real farmers, real agriculture and real food. Come on…you know its real when theres a turkey being transported in a printer box!

Anyone can get out and have this kind of education from the food they eat every day. In fact more people need to be doing this but in the meantime, if you don’t do anything else…watch this!
